Clerk-Typist III  Position Description

General Description: This position performs a wide range of clerical support activities for Personal Health and Environmental Health programs. Provides clerical and reception services to contribute to the smooth department operation of the Health District. Fiscal Assistant Position Description

General Description: This position is responsible for providing fiscal services in support of Health District programs. The Fiscal Assistant assists in managing Health District accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management functions. Minimum qualifications are two-year accounting degree plus two years working as assistant to an Accountant or four years of experience in a position comparable to this classification. Position: Program Development Specialst Position Description

General Description: The initial role of the NCACH Program Development Specialist is to assist in the design and development of project proposals and plans for these health improvement initiatives, and ensure community input is incorporated into the development of the project plans. Research into evidence-based interventions to be used in these projects will be an important early responsibility. Development of cooperative agreements and other plans involving community health partners will be an important aspect of project plan development, as will the analysis of community health information and other data related to design of the initiatives. Since of the expected initiatives involve the improvement of care provided to Medicaid patients an understanding of health care delivery would be an asset. Position:  Public Health Nurse II Position Description

General Description: This is a permanent, full-time Public Health Nurse position. The position involves interaction with patients in culturally diverse populations, community based organizations, medical personnel and Health District staff. The role will encompass two programs, Children with Special Health Care Needs and TB. The position requires independent judgement, assessment skills, guidance to families and community health groups and utilizes appropriate intervention and prevention of disease and injury information.
