FREE COVID-19 TESTS AVAILABLE TO BRIDGEPORT RESIDENTS

Chelan-Douglas Health District and Columbia Valley Community Health Testing Efforts

EAST WENATCHEE – Chelan-Douglas Health Distict (CDHD) and Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH) are joining together to offer free, COVID-19 testing to Bridgeport residents on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Health workers will be stationed at La Plaza Market in Bridgeport and will also go door-to-door throughout Bridgeport neighborhoods offering free testing.

Due to a recent uptick of COVID-19 positive cases in the Bridgeport area, the Health District wants to determine how widespread the virus is. The tests are self-administered after instructions by the health worker. The sample is collected and an on-site lab located in Brewster will provide the results within 24-hours. There is no charge for the test.

For the health of your family, neighbors, and friends, please wear a mask when in public. Together, we can stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
