FREE COVID TESTING SCHEDULED FOR CASHMERE, WA

Cashmere, WA – Free COVID testing is scheduled to take place September 22nd, 2020 from 2:00pm – 8:00pm at Riverside Park located at 201 Riverside Drive, Cashmere, WA and in a door-to-door effort throughout various neighborhoods. Besides being a free resource for community members, this testing effort is being held to give public health officials better data on the current spread of COVID-19. Door-to-door outreach is being conducted this week through Saturday in Cashmere where community health workers provide COVID-19 information and resources.

The tests are pain free and available to anyone who wants to get tested. Results can be expected within 24-48 hours for those who test positive and 5-7 days for those who test negative. No identification is required but there is a registration form with basic information that will be filled out on site. This voluntary testing is self-administered and guided by onsite health care professionals.
