Wenatchee, WA – Drive-thru COVID-19 testing managed by the Chelan-Douglas Health District in Wenatchee and East Wenatchee has been cancelled for Friday, Oct. 23, in anticipation of forecasted inclement weather.
The National Weather Service forecasts widespread snow accumulations and below freezing temperatures for the region on Friday. Testing was planned at Wenatchee High School and New Song Community Church.
Testing will be available Friday at Confluence Health, 615 N. Emerson Ave., for those people who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or who have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. The testing center will be open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
Free drive-thru testing will resume next week as scheduled at Wenatchee High School, 1101 Millerdale Ave. Testing will be 1 to 6 p.m. from Oct. 27-30. There is no testing scheduled at New Song Community Church for next week.
